Since 1947, Grove Market & Deli has been a beloved neighborhood staple in Salt Lake City, famous for serving up some of the biggest, most iconic sandwiches in Utah. What started decades ago as a small, traditional corner grocery market eventually evolved into the legendary deli destination it is today.
Generations of locals have walked through our doors hungry and left with sandwiches stacked high enough to feed a small army.
A New Chapter
In November 2025, Grove Market passed the torch to new ownership through an asset purchase, marking an exciting new chapter in the deli's long history. While some faces behind the counter change over the decades, our core mission remains exactly the same: honoring the rich community traditions, welcoming old friends and new visitors alike, and keeping the local deli spirit alive.
We are incredibly proud to carry this legacy forward, continuing to serve the Salt Lake community with the same massive portions, quality ingredients, and friendly neighborhood atmosphere that put us on the map nearly 80 years ago.
